So I watched my first ever baseball game last Friday. It was an exchange between me and Ish--if she wrote me a Harry Potter story, I would watch a Red Sox game with her. If you want to read the story it is here. It has three chapters so far and looks like it will be a great story.
But back to the fact that I actually watched a baseball game. Ish was very good about it and never made fun of me that I had to ask what things meant and what was going on, so go Ish! And I totally kicked her trash at Red Sox monopoly.
And I want to plant a pesky pole in my yard. It was rather interesting watching the game and I do understand a little more about baseball now than I did before. And I might even ask Ish how the Red Sox are doing once in a while. No I'm not a die hard baseball or Red Sox fan now (sorry, Ish, I don't think you'll ever convert me that far) but maybe I won't tease Ish so much about her obsession anymore....

I am very proud of you for watching that game, even when you had to ask so many questions and had to put up with me screaming hysterically in the bottom of the 9th inning. And yes, you so kicked my trash at Red Sox Monopoly. THat night was well worth the effort of that story!
Way to go! I have no desire to watch a baseball game. They're so boring! (Unless you are there) Still it's cool to expand one's circle of knowledge.
